Cristiano Ronaldo is looking for a new club, with one option being Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr.

Recent reports claim the 37-year-old, who left Manchester United last month by mutual consent, is set to sign a huge contract to join and fast food giant KFC have poked fun the player.

Since becoming a free agent, Ronaldo has been linked with moves to Chelsea and former club Sporting Lisbon among others, but Al Nassr appear to have won the race to secure his signature.

Despite winning five Champions League titles and as many Ballon d’Ors, KFC joked he will be a starter in the Middle East.

In a cheeky post on Twitter, the fast food outlet said: “Decent back up to Aboubakar tbf,” alongside a picture of Ronaldo.

In was in reference to Vincent Aboubakar, who joined Al Nassr last year, having previously played for Porto and Besiktas.

He has just finished playing in the World Cup with Cameroon, scoring twice, including one against Brazil.

David Ospina is another former European top flight player at Al Nassr, so Ronaldo won’t be short of quality around him should he join.

A move to the Saudi side would see him become the highest paid athlete in the world.

He would earn around £173million-a-year at the club, a lot more than the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar currently take in.

Ronaldo will soon be playing for the fifth senior club in his career, but it seems as though KFC don’t think he will get much game time in his new adventure.
