Ladies and gentlemen, Amad Diallo has arrived.

The 18-year-old, who arrived from Atalanta for a £19million fee this summer, scored TWICE in a electric full debut for Manchester United’s Under-23s.

Diallo scored twice on his debut for United’s Under-23s and his second effort was a cheeky panenka penalty

The youngster got his first after just 14 minutes in the clash against Liverpool as he capitalised on some poor defending to race through on goal and slot home.

He doubled his tally in the second half with a cheeky Panenka penalty and also added an assist in the 6-3 victory.

Big things are expected of the teenager, who had been scouted by United for years before joining the club in January.

Earlier this week, Mason Greenwood gushed about the winger to MUTV: “It’s good to have rivalries and stuff like that to get into the team.

“They’re all good players. A new player, Amad, that’s come in.

“He’s a wonderful technical player so I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him soon.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also praised his new recruit, saying: “That’s his preferred position.

“He is good at finding space, he can go inside and outside and he will get the time to prove that he is the one.

“Along the way we have got Mason, Marcus [Rashford], Daniel [James], Juan [Mata] and Paul [Pogba] has played there, so we have options but I think when you look at the squad and you look at Amad and you think, yeah, that’s probably where we will work to fit you in.”
