One of London’s fiercest rivalries will renewed this afternoon as West Ham United host Tottenham Hotspur.

David Moyes’ side have enjoyed an excellent start to their season and come into this contest full of confidence following a 3-0 victory over Genk in the Europa League on Thursday night.

For Spurs this will be a chance to get themselves back on track after their shock defeat to Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League.

With just a point separating the two teams in the Premier League it could be a tight contest, but on past encounters they certainly haven’t lacked entertainment.

  • West Ham avoided defeat in both Premier League meetings with Spurs last season (W1 D1) – they haven’t gone three league games without defeat against their London rivals since May 2006.
  • Tottenham have won three of their last four visits to the London Stadium to face West Ham in the Premier League, though they did lose this exact fixture 2-1 last season.
