Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to make a stunning return to the Sweden team, five years after retiring from international football.

And the country’s record goalscorer announced the news with the most Zlatan post ever, saying: “The return of the God”.

The 39-year-old initially quit the team following their exit from the Euro 2016 group stages.

But he has now been recalled to the Sweden squad for upcoming games against Georgia, Kosovo and Estonia.

Zlatan has scored 62 goals in 116 appearances for his country, and returns to the international scene on the back of his brilliant goalscoring form for AC Milan, with 16 goals in 21 appearances in Italy this season.

And as well as returning to the international fold, he’s also set to face his old team in Manchester United this week in the Europa League last-16.
