A 51-year-old high school teacher on Friday, March 15, 2019 was arrested for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student.
The teacher, Katherine O'Neil, was arrested by the Barstow Sheriff’s Station in California, USA, following a report of suspected relationship between the teacher and the student.
Following an investigation carried out, it was discovered that O'Neil had a sexual relationship with the student and the two of them exchanged explicit text messages.
The teacher, who is said to have been on administrative leave since October 2018, has released on $100,000 bail.
