IMF warns Nigeria that the eNaira could be compromised by fraudsters and used for money laundering and terrorism financing

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned Nigeria about the possibility of its central Bank digital currency, the eNaira, being comprised and used for illicit transactions such as money laundering and terrorism financing.
