‘An invincible summer’: Fotografia Europea – in pictures

Fotografia Europea, the international photography festival comprising 20 exhibitions and a calendar of related events, opens in Reggio Emilia in Italy in April. This year’s theme is ‘an invincible summer’, a term attributed to writer Albert Camus, which suggests how inner strength, even in the dead of winter, tends to be unleashed in the ultimate triumph and constant renewal of life

Fotografia Europea is open from 29 April to 12 June
