2023: Jigawa NNPP picks Abdulaziz Usman as Ringim’s running mate

The New NIgeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has picked Sen. Abdulaziz Usman as its gubernatorial candidate’s running mate in Jigawa State.This was stated by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Muntari Ibrahim Gagarawa.He said Usman was selected based on his contribution to the development of the party.Sen Usman has a post-graduate degree in Business Management.He was a senior planning officer for Jigawa State Agriculture and Rural Development before he joined politics.He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2007.Abdulaziz Usman was also elected to the Senate for the Jigawa North East constituency in 2007 and reelected in 2011, all under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.He decamped to the opposition New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, alongside his supporters and was elected as NNPP National Vice Chairman, North West.
