Following the 24 hours’ curfew imposed on kafanchan, a major town in Kaduna State, Christians in the city were unable to attend Sunday service yesterday.

It was gathered that most churches in the area were under lock and keys in compliance with the restriction.

Residents of the area said the presence of security man and other strict measures adopted by them made it impossible for people to go to their respective churches.

It will be recalled that a 24-hour curfew was imposed on the city on Friday, following outbreak of violence in the area.

John Dejo, a member of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, said that if the curfew persists, they would be forced to worship in their various houses.
