Keyamo reveals what’s responsible for economic crisis, warns those moving abroad

The Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, has blamed the current soaring inflation bedevilling the country on global issues, claiming some individuals are playing local politics with it.   Keyamo said Nigeria is not isolated from present global issues, warning those still planning to move abroad to be mindful that the country is not isolated from current global problems.   Recall that ‘JAPA’, a word for relocating abroad for better opportunities, has been trending among Nigerians.   He disclosed this via his verified Twitter handle, alluding that the massive protests on the streets of Paris, France, over soaring prices could be traced to the global crisis.   He wrote: “Massive protests on the streets of Paris over soaring prices. Meanwhile, some are still planning to ‘japa’ abroad, as if Nigeria is in isolation from present global issues. Some who know the issues are also deceiving Nigerians and playing local politics with global issues.”
