Caged: Indonesia’s songbird trade – in pictures

More than 20 million songbirds are traded illegally in Indonesia each year and poaching is rife to meet demand, especially on Java. Photographer Paul Hilton followed the trade through south-east Asia, documenting the affect on bird numbers in the region
