The disconcerting spectacle of carnival in Haiti – in pictures

Leah Gordon has been photographing the carnivals of Haiti for more than 20 years, documenting their unique blend of political satire, folk rituals and Vodou. A retrospective of her work, Kanaval, is on show at the Museum Of Contemporary Art North Miami until April 2023
