Why I retained FCT Minister Mohammed Bello – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has declared his admiration for Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Mohammed Bello.   The Nigerian leader commended Bello for his transparency, honesty and integrity in management, NAN reports.   During a Sunday Christmas homage at the Presidential Villa, Buhari said he deliberately appointed Bello and refused to deploy him.   His comments followed the remark by Senator Smart Adeyemi, Chairman Senate Committee on FCT, who described Bello as the most transparent Minister in charge of the nation’s capital.   Buhari noted that he was elated by the description and thanked Bello for not disappointing him.   The President said he was excited about how the Minister restored sanity to allocating plots in the FCT.   Buhari observed people were used to selling allocated plots instead of developing them as stipulated by the laws.   ”Others also apply for land only for them to resell and get quick money for marrying additional wives”, he said.
