Nigeria again shattered any hopes of coming home with a wood yesterday as the Womens 4X100M medal hopefully came Fourth gracefullung a Record Breaking Race by the USA. Well, we all knew nothing was coming but at least we needed to cheer...

Maybe i missed the turn but i felt our 2nd and 3rd leg went weak and there was nothing Okagbare could do than to come 4th, anyways the Sport Minsiter already told us they fail and we should now put Sports into Vision 2020?

In the same race, the sensational United States team shattered a 27-year-old world record to win gold in the women's 4x100m relay at London 2012.

The team of Tianna Madison, Allyson Felix, Bianca Knight and Carmelita Jeter blazed round the track in 40.82 seconds, beating East Germany's record of 41.37, which had stood since 1985.

Jamaica were second in a national record time of 41.41, with Ukraine third in 42.04 and Nigeria fourth.

Michael Johnson - "That was a fantastic run by the US relay team but the exchanges weren't as crisp as yesterday's heats. They knew by bringing in Allyson Felix and Carmelita Jeter for the final they had speed and I think they decided to go with safer exchanges."
