Scientists link traffic noise to hypertension

A new study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology has shown that traffic noise is associated with an increased risk of hypertension. The research, which was published this month, is strong evidence of the relationship between elevations in blood pressure and roaring engines, honking horns and wailing sirens. The lead author
