Senate calls for evacuation of residents living in flood prone areas

The Nigerian Senate, Thursday, while expressing concern over the continuous loss of lives and property occasioned by gullies and floodwaters, has urged the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to urgently implement a community-resettlement plan to relocate residents from high-risk areas especially in this rainy season.
