Senate confirms appointment of service chiefs, others

The Senate on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Service Chiefs, nominated by President Bola Tinubu. The confirmation came after the consideration and approval of a motion brought by Senate Majority leader, Opeyemi Bamidele (APC-Ekiti), on confirmation of the shortlisted service chiefs. The Service Chiefs are Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral
