Anambra candidate, Ifeanyi Ubah asks INEC to refund his money
« on: November 19, 2013, 05:57:32 PM »

Ifeanyi Ubah

The Labour Party candidate for governor in Anambra, Capital Oil boss Ifeanyi Ubah, is clearly disappointed in the election’s outcome (though yet unannounced)– and he is putting his mouth where his money is.

Although written off as a tier-2 candidate by pundits, Ubah makes it clear in remarks today that he believes he has been unfairly treated and the monies spent to win then election wasted by the incompetence of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He has also called for the total cancellation of the elections.
“If (INEC chairman) Jega announces this election result, then cans of worms will come out in Anambra State,” he said.
He joins other candidates, Tony Nwoye of the People’s Democratic Party and Chris Ngige of the All Progressives Congress, who have also asked for a cancellation of the results.
