Oyo State to recruit 2,500 School Teachers

The Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, has said the state will soon begin a recruitment process for 2,500 primary school teachers to fill the vacancies in the state primary schools.

The state Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) chairman, Mr Adebisi, who was part of a delegation of Oke Ogun Development Council to the Governor’s Office, confirmed this on Tuesday. Mr Adebisi said the governor had approved the employment of teachers, especially for schools in Oke Ogun area of the state where 1,200 teachers were urgently needed in primary schools in Oke Ogun.
