A’ Ibom youths protest oil firm’s destruction of farmlands, water sources

Thousands of youths including women from Ikot Ekong community in Mkpat-Enin local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State on Tuesday blocked the Akpaden/Eastern Obolo Road to protest alleged destruction of their farmlands and water sources by Sterling Global and Natural Oil Field Service. The protesters who blocked the highway early in the morning sang solidarity
