‘Akume is your big brother, he’s watching your back’ – Tinubu’s wife to Alia

 The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Oluremi, on Wednesday
assured Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State of the support of the Secretary
to the Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume.

 

The President’s wife spoke during Akume’s 70th birthday
celebration in the Wannuni area of Benue State.

 

Mrs Tinubu described Akume as a big brother to Alia.

 

Addressing Alia, she said, “God bless Benue State and to you
Father Hyacinth Alia, I believe your big brother is watching your back to keep
the state safe.”

 

There has been rumoured rift between Akume and Alia
recently.

 

A group, the Benue Patriots, had called on President Bola
Tinubu to urgently intervene in the face-off between Alia and Akume.
