Army destroys 233 Illegal refineries, recovers 356 arms in 2023

The 6 Division, Nigerian Army, said it destroyed 233 illegal refineries in the Niger Delta region, while 112 suspects were arrested in 2023. The General Officer Commanding,  6 Division, Nigerian Army/Land Component Commander, Joint Task Force, South-South, Operation Delta Safe, Major General Jamal Abdussalam disclosed while enumerating the achievements of the Division last year.
