Nigeria won’t rely on grants for clean energy transition — Minister

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Dr Heineken Lokpobiri, has said that Nigeria would not rely on aid or grants to transit from fossil fuel to cleaner and renewable energy. He said the nation has projected $1.9tn for an energy transition plan, while $1.2tn was estimated for a renewable energy plan in 2060,
