PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

Well, according to reports, It has never been implemented on any ATM

Reason in the USA is said to be the legal case and putting into law so has to have it enforced but does the Technology Exist - Yes it Does.

So with the recent ATM Fraud and Gun point Withdrawals in Nigeria especially now that Daily Limits has increased to N100,000 and N150,000 on some ATMs, do we need such a Technology?

Maybe this time, If you put it in Reverse (the PIN I mean) - The ATM should just start shouting (Thief! Thief!! Thief!!!)  ;D - ok that was a joke

But seriously, Should a such a technology be passed into the Financial circle by the CBN to reduce ATM theft...?
