A Truck, yesterday, in Oba Akoko, Akoko South-west council area of Ondo State, weekend, crushed to death a 14-year-old primary school pupil.
Consequently youths in the town cut the expressway way in several places to protest the killing.
The angry youths barricaded major roads in the town burning tyres and chanting war songs.
They called on relevant authorities to construct speed breakers on the highway to Akungba from Owo to avoid a recurrence of such fatality.
Vanguard gathered that the pupil of New Era Group of Schools, simply identified as Gabriel, was about to cross the expressway when he was crushed to death.
A reliable source said that boy after dressing up for church wanted to take his breakfast but discovered there was no sugar in the house.
In an attempt to cross the road to the other side of his house to buy sugar resulted in his death as the articulated truck, loaded with tomatoes coming from Abuja, ran over him.
