Beware of meter replacement scammers, IBEDC warns customers

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company has warned its customers about a surge in fraudulent activities involving meter replacement agents. In a disclaimer posted on its X platform on Monday, the IBEDC management said the company has received numerous reports of individuals posing as IBEDC staff and attempting to deceive customers into paying for unauthorised meter
