Champions League: Bayern Munich, Milan, Atletico in danger of elimination after Match Day 3

Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and PSV Eindhoven are some of the top teams in danger of elimination from the Champions League.Vincent Kompany’s men were thrashed 4-1 by Barcelona on Wednesday night.It was the Bavarians’ second defeat of the league phase, after they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa in Match Day 2.Atletico Madrid are sitting in the 27th spot, after they suffered a 3-1 loss to Lille at home.Jonathan David scored twice as the Ligue 1 beat another Madrid team this season.AC Milan are in 25th spot, despite their 3-1 win over Club Brugge on Tuesday.PSV occupy 28th spot with two points from three fixtures.After each club has played eight matches, the top eight move into the last 16 and those ranked between ninth and 24th go to the play-offs trying to join them.
