US elections: NATO Chief congratulates Trump

The Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, Mark Rutte has congratulated Donald Trump for winning the US presidential election.This was contained in a statement on Wednesday.Rutte, in his congratulatory message, said Trump’s return to power will help keep the alliance strong.“His leadership will again be key to keeping our alliance strong.“I look forward to working with him again to advance peace through strength through NATO,” he said.
