 Elsie Okpocha, Basketmouth’s estranged wife, has posted
cryptic social media messages that seem to be directed at the comedian.

 

In the first post on her Instagram story, Elsie asked why
someone would try to frustrate another person’s efforts simply because they
have decided to be happy.

 

“How are you still trying to frustrate her efforts because
she decided to be happy,” the entrepreneur wrote.

 

In a subsequent post, Elsie expressed concern about a father
telling his 16-year-old son not to share his phone password with his mother.

 

“Tell me why a father should tell a son of 16 years! 16
years! not to give his mother his password,” she added.

 

“I need an answer. Is a mother not supposed to have access
to her 16 year old’s phone?”The posts have rekindled attention on Elsie and
Basketmouth’s separation, which was announced in December 2022. The couple’s
12-year marriage ended, leaving fans and friends shocked. Basketmouth had shared a statement at the time, citing the
difficulty of their split and the importance of prioritizing their children’s
well-being. The estranged lovebirds have three children together —
including Jason, who is 16. While Elsie’s posts hint at tensions with Basketmouth, their
intended meaning remains unclear. The comedian has yet to publicly respond to
the posts, fueling further speculation about the nature of their relationship
