Imam impregnates friend’s wife, runs away with her



A Muslim cleric was said to have eloped with his friend’s wife and her two children after getting her pregnant in Shasha area of Lagos State.

The cleric , identified as Rasheed (surname withheld) was said to be a close friend of Omoo, the husband of the woman he was having an affair with.

They were close until the secret leaked to Omoo that his wife, Idowu was having an extra-marital affair with his friend, Rasheed, popularly known as Alfa.

Reports  gathered that the bubble burst when Idowu, who was allegedly manhandled by her husband (Omoo) at the slightest provocation, became pregnant and moved to Rasheed’s apartment with her two children.

A woman who claimed to be the sister of Idowu but pleaded anonymity said when Omoo crushed somebody in Lagos and was charged for manslaughter, it was the Rasheed who spent over N40,000 to secure his release from prison where he was remanded.

The source said Omoo who reported the matter at the Shasha police station, told the police to release his two kids to him but Idowu told policemen at the Area ‘M’ Idimu Command, where the matter had been transferred to that she would not release the kids to him because he usually sent their 8-year-old-son, Ife, to purchase Indian hemp from a nearby joint in Shasha.

Idowu alleged that Omoo smokes Indian hemp so much and behaves irrationally and that was why she would not release the children to him, adding that Alfa spends so much for the upkeep of the children and takes good care of her and that was why he decided to marry him.
