 The season of love is here again, and Durex as always is here to lend a hand and make your love dream come true with our Love Photo Contest. The first edition went so well that our fans have been insisting we do another edition.

Well of course we couldn’t say no to that, and so here we are with the second edition of The Durex Love Photo Contest. This year we are sending one lucky couple on an All-Expense Paid trip to the city of love itself Paris to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

To participate, all you have to do is …
1)  Send a cute couple picture of you and your partner to durexlovephotocontest@gmail.com
2)  Get your friends to visit the Durex Facebook Page and vote by "Liking" your photo
3) The photo with the Highest number of like at the end of the contest wins.

DUREX LOVE PHOTO CONTEST DISQUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Durex Nigeria would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support for the #DurexLovePhotoContest. We are delighted to see all the photo entries and your enthusiasm for the trip to Paris. An all expense paid trip to Paris is up for grabs and many are giving it their all by encouraging all of their friends and family to “‘like” and support their entries. We want to give the reward to the most deserving contestant.

It has come to our attention that there might be some fraudulent methods being used to acquire Facebook likes on some certain post. We at Durex Nigeria have read all of your messages and emails about your concerns and reactions.

The criteria for judging the winner of the contest is that the photo who garnered the most Facebook likes will get the trip to Paris. Some of the contestants are missing the point of the FB Like as the criteria for judging. The main objective of “liking” a contestant’s post is for your Facebook friends and the friends of your Facebook friends to vote for your post in support of your post. The most number of likes/votes wins the contest.

To address this issue, Durex Nigeria have investigated unscrupulous ways on how to garner Facebook likes. In this regard we are releasing criteria for the disqualification of a Facebook like. Any violation of any of there would lead to disqualification from the contest. These are:

1. Creation of dummy accounts to add up on likes;
2. A fan page liking the photo post;
3. Suspicious identity of the people who liked your photo;
4. Embedding of script to automatically like the post.

We would want to reach out to our fans and reward those who are genuinely supportive of Durex Nigeria. We are keen in promoting an open and honest interactive community as well as running a fair competition.
