Obasa arrives Lagos assembly complex with security operatives

Mudashiru Obasa, the impeached speaker of the Lagos state
house of assembly, rode into the assembly complex on Thursday afternoon — with
a retinue of security aides in tow.

 

The development comes moments after incumbent speaker
Mojisola Meranda’s security detail was withdrawn.

 

“They have restored all Obasa’s security aides as of this
morning,” a source said.

 

The ousted speaker arrived the legislative building around
midday and made for the speaker’s office.
