Funke Akindele Turns 35 Yesterday ...

Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele Oloyede has turned 35!

Akindele-Oloyede worked as a TV actor for years, before switching to Nollywood, Nigeria’s movie industry.

Her first acting role was on Opa Williams ‘Naked Wire‘ before going on to star as ‘Bisi’ in the family oriented educational series ‘I need to know‘ which was sponsored by the United Nations Population Fund.

Akindele is however more popularly known for producing her box office hit movie series  ’Jenifa‘ and ‘The Return of Jenifa,‘ in which she plays the lead role.
