Nigerian youths frustrated, planning something heavy – Primate Ayodele claims

Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Friday, warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of an impending crisis if he doesn’t attend to the needs of Nigerian youths across the nation.Primate Ayodele revealed that the youths are planning something heavy against Tinubu’s government, which will come in the form of protests that stem from the frustration they have faced so far in the current administration.In a statement by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, the prophet stated that not much has been done for the youths, and the president must create empowerment and employment for them before 2026 in order to stabilize his government.He urged the president to utilize the youth minister adequately to reach out to the youths across board in order to prevent issues that would arise soon.“The youths are planning a surge against Tinubu’s government, they want to protest against the economy, election, and some other things frustrating them. I want the president to make a strong move on the youth matter so it won’t cause his government problems.“Create empowerment and employment for the youth before May 2026. This isn’t part of the things that will make you win, but you must do to stabilize your government.“The youths will go on a rampage. Don’t take the youths for granted. You should not enable youths for thuggery, but for the betterment of the country, create jobs for them, empower the best students in tertiary institutions, and do more for them.“You have a very talented youth minister who listens to advice and knows how to get to the youth. Utilize him adequately for this purpose.”The prophet called on the president not to focus on the ‘Big Boys’ youths because they don’t vote.He explained that he isn’t talking about empowering youths in Lekki, Ikoyi, Island, because they are popular, but those who are in the grassroots and not necessarily influencers.Continuing, he said going to different states and places to empower youths and carry them along in the administration’s reforms would go a long way; otherwise, it would be used against the president.“Don’t take the youths for granted, and we are not talking about ‘Big Boys’ youths, those ones don’t vote. We are not talking about Lekki, Ikoyi, Island youths, I mean youths from the grassroots, they don’t have to be famous, we are not talking about internet youths“You should go to different states and places to empower youths, carry them along in your reforms; otherwise, it will be used against you,” he stated.
