Many Feared Dead as Bandits Launch Deadly Attack on Kebbi Community

 Suspected bandits have carried out a fresh attack on a village in Kebbi State, resulting in multiple deaths and abductions. The bandits launched a deadly attack on Tadurga village, in Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State on Monday night, June 16.According to reports, the assailants, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the community and began shooting into the air, looting shops, rustling cattle and unleashing terror on the residents.“They came en masse, shooting sporadically. They looted shops, abducted many villagers, k!lled several others, and made away with cattle.”a resident saidThe exact number of victims who were abducted is yet to be determined. Confirming the incident, CSP Nafiu Abubakar, the spokesperson for the Kebbi State Police Command, stated that the command has initiated an investigation into the matter, and efforts are underway to rescue the abducted residents and bring the perpetrators to justice.
