After Oduah - Jonathan releases more Service Chiefs

Aviation, Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah, by the Federal Government, the industry again became jolted with the news about the removal of the chief executives of the various aviation agencies.

 According to the information gathered, the affected Chief Executives include: George Uriesi, the managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and Engineer Nnamdi Udoh, managing director, the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).

 Others are their counterparts at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Folayele  Akinkuotu and the rector, Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Captain Chinyere Kalu.

While the director general of the Meteorological Services Agency (NIMET), Dr Anthony Anuforom was lucky to retain his position, his counterpart at the Accident Investigation Bureau, Captain Usman MUhktar was asked to replace his colleague removed at the NCAA.

 As of the time of filing this report, there were no certain reasons behind their removal but it was gathered that their removal might not be unconnected with the circumstances surrounding the removal of the minister.
