The Ogun State Police Command, yesterday, paraded a fake pastor, Ndubuisi Ignatius, and 38 other suspects for allegedly engaging in various criminal activities across the state.

Ignatius was accused of disguising as a spiritual father, held one James Nwosu, living at Agbara in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, hostage and robbed him of N3,190,000.

The Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, while parading the 39 suspected criminals in Abeokuta, disclosed that the fake pastor, who had been a spiritual father to Nwosu's family for over six months, was arrested February 25 after he allegedly defrauded his client.

Okoye further said that the fake man of God had confessed to the crime he was accused, adding that he would be charged to court after the completion of investigation on the matter.
