Four Robbers bags 21years imprisonment each.

Four armed robbers have been sentenced to 21 years each in jail by Kano State High Court.

The robbers were convicted for robbing A. A. Rano Tudun Wada filling station in 2012 and also for attacking the Assistant Manager and some staff of the filling station.

The names of the robbers are Monday Joseph, Umar Adamu, Simon Chile and Mukhtar Adamu.

The robbers had allegedly taken off with N2.68 million during the operation.

The judge residing the case was Justice Nura Sagir and said that the prosecution had proven with no doubts that the men were guilty.

They were convicted with provision of Section (1) (a) and (b) of the Robbery and Fire Arms Provisions Act, Cap RII, Laws of the Federation.

The Judge said: "I hereby sentence you to 21 years imprisonment each without an option of fine as stipulated and to serve as deterrent to others," he said.
