In the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1814/2026, the NDC sought recognition of its modified logo and colour design after INEC declined to upload the version adopted at the party’s first National Executive Committee meeting.On Tuesday, 8 September 2026, Justice Abdulmalik ruled in the party’s favour, declaring INEC’s refusal unconstitutional, illegal and a violation of the political party’s rights.
