Boko Haram: Terrorism will soon come to an end in Nigeria – Sultan

Frontline northern leader and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, has expressed hope that the ongoing activities of insurgents in the country will soon come to an end.

The Monarch stated this while fielding questions from State House correspondents shortly after leading the 2013 Federal Government Hajj delegation to present their report to President Goodluck Jonathan.

Sultan said he was hopeful that with what Jonathan discussed with them, the problem would soon become history.

“We took time to rub minds on some few security issues affecting Nigeria. We heard from Mr. President and he also heard from us. Insha Allah, Nigeria will be better for it very soon,” he declared.
