Old habits die hard! So the saying goes. This is true about the new 419 fraudulently emerged Governor of Ekiti State whom has now renamed the Land of Honour, "Fountain of Stomach Infrastructure" (omo tiku losoro, ebinna). On his inauguration day, he announced to the whole world and to gullible Ekiti masses who deserves the Governor they get, that the Ayoba villa Governor's lodge is open to them and that they can sleep in any room they found themselves! He said this to give an impression that the villa is opened to Ekiti masses. But those who were unfortunate to believe Fayose's empty declaration have themselves to blame because those found in the rooms in Oke Ayoba the following day, were beaten blue and black by security agents!

Governor 419 Fayose also deceived Ekiti people that his official car is a 1965 Mercedes Benz giving the impression that he maintains a low profile. But unknown to many people, Karimu Jay has since returned the museum piece to where he borrowed it. Also unknown to gullible Ekiti people who prefer a fraudster to an Omoluabi is the fact that Fayose before he was sworn in had purchased a Range Rover worth 43 million naira as Governor-Elect from Coscharis motors and passed the bill to Govt House and Protocol. Also, he created the unconstitutional office of the Governor-elect and passed all hotel bills incurred by him and his irresponsible aides and their mistresses to govt house and protocol department. The most surprising aspect of all this finacial recklessness and irresponsible behaviour is that, Fayose and his aides were the first to go to Press to accuse the Fayemi administration of leaving a huge debt for his administration when he is part of the debt! What hypocrisy!
