Three points at Crystal Palace last weekend were followed up on Tuesday night by a record-breaking 6-0 win over Slovenian champions Maribor at Stamford Bridge. The night passed by as smoothly as one could have wanted from a Chelsea point of view. Jose even had the luxury of resting a few players and it was also great experience for the likes of Kurt Zouma and Dominic Solanke.

Unbeaten in all competitions so far, we visit Manchester United on Sunday in impressive early season form.

Mourinho is set to face up to an old friend of his in Louis van Gaal for the first time in the Premier League, who will strive to have his United side chomping at the bit to prove themselves against the Premier League pacesetters. The Old Trafford club have endured mixed fortunes so far this season, sitting 10 points behind Chelsea going into the clash.

Few - even from a United perspective - would argue that Chelsea head into the match as slight favourites. Chelsea's ability to stay compact on the road, but counter attack with purpose is a quality that makes us one of the most feared teams in Europe on current form.

Additionally, Chelsea have put in some solid performances at Old Trafford in their last couple of visits. The last win came in 2012/13, when a certain Juan Mata netted a late winner in his Blues days. But the 'Special One' faces some uncertainties over the players he has available to him ahead of the clash.

If he isn’t fit then Diego Costa will be a big miss for us and doubts still remain over Loic Remy too – If Remy misses out, it will probably be left to Andre Schurrle or legendary Didier Drogba to lead the line.

Drogba can take confidence after scoring his first Chelsea goal since that fateful night in Munich, while the ever-important Eden Hazard goes into the game on the back of a man-of-the-match performance against Maribor. The Belgian was typically clinical from the penalty spot, but the way he executed his second goal oozed the brilliance we've come to expect of him. Hazard is growing in stature and importance with every month that goes by. Chelsea's new number 10 is among the best individual players in the league at the moment and with another top showing against United his stock will rise even higher. Hazard's ball-carrying abilities and deadly instincts make him key to Chelsea's chances of winning.
