Your card is your gun against incompetence in the government - Buhari

Former military head of state and presidential hopeful under the platform of All Progressives Congress ( APC ), General Muhammadu Buhari yesterday decried the level of infrastructural decay under the ruling Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) just as he urged Nigerians to come out en-masse to collect their voters cards to vote against incompetent government.

He said; “Your card is your gun against incompetence in the government, and against the deception of Nigerians. We have suffered enough”.

Gen. Buhari, who spoke at the formal declaration of Mal. Nasir El-Rufai to run for the governorship of Kaduna State, said; “It is with the card that we will repair Nigeria. You know what it takes to repair Nigeria, especially the infrastructure, security, and above all employment. Let us get the infrastructure working, let’s get the security materially, physically and morally with our cards,” he said.

Speaking on El-Rufai ‘s aspiration to govern Kaduna in 2015, the former head of state said El-Rufai represents the transformation that Kaduna needs.

“I developed cold feet to come and present El-Rufai to you because of the sacrifices which El-Rufai wanted to make on my behalf which I turned down.
