Fashola to present 2015 budget proposal Monday

Lagos State governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, will on Monday present the 2015 budget proposal for the state.

The Majority Leader, Honourable Ajibayo Adeyeye, made the announcement at a session presided over by the deputy Speaker, Honourable Kolawole Taiwo, who presided over the plenary.

The announcement came as the House was about rounding off and adjourning session till Monday.

It was learnt that Adeyeye must have made the announcement, following receipt of the necessary communication from the Governor’s Office, saying, the governor would be there on Monday to present the budget.

It would be recalled that Governor Fashola presented a budget proposal of N489.690 billion for the 2014 fiscal year to the state House for consideration and eventual ratification.

The proposal comprises of a recurrent expenditure of N234.665 billion and capital expenditure of N255.025 billion. - Tribune
