People of Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, have continued to count their loses following the flood that ravaged the city and over 332 communities in nine local government areas of the state last Saturday.

The flood, which reverberating effects have continued to be felt across the country, did not leave anything untouched in its furry as Saturday Tribune can report that skeletons of already buried corpses were ‘excavated’ and swept away by it.

The flood submerged cemeteries in Lokoja and villages around the city. So lets just say the living and the dead are floating together in Kogi state. It is well, One still wonder what the emergency response is at this time of great need by the Government?
