Gov Fayose of Ekiti criticizes attacke on Journalist by Soldeir in Ekiti

Ayodele Fayose, has condemned the beating of a local journalist by soldiers while the newsman was on his way to work recently.

Soldiers allegedly assaulted Wole Balogun,  a journalist working with one of the national newspapers, for unknown reasons.

The governor through a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, described the physical attack as unwarranted, barbaric and an action not welcomed in a democratic setting and peaceful situation that currently exists in Ekiti State.
 
He warned all the security agents operating in the state to be wary of actions that could paint the state in bad light in the eyes of the world.
