A Nigerian Mum arrested in UK for leaving her Children to Party in Nigeria

A MOTHER-of-two has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after she left her young children at home by themselves to attend a wedding in Nigeria.

The children aged 10 and 13 were discovered by Manchester police to be living with no heat or food in their mothers’ residence in Salford, Greater Manchester, according to reports.

The two children continued to attend school in their mothers’ absence.

The woman who has not been named yet, allegedly flew out of the country on January 28 and returned on February 11 after she was alerted that she was under investigation.

The mother was arrested on return into the country at Heathrow airport.
