There are sundry calls both for the sack and the retention of Prof. Attahiru Jega as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission. Some who call for his dismissal allegedly want him replaced by a (likely pliant) professor brother of a South-West governor, who is a crony of President Goodluck Jonathan.
