FORMER Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu, has berated the Nigeria Football Federation  (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, over his trips to London to scout for players, saying the move was not in accordance with the NFF boss’ line of duty.

Speaking to The Guardian Wednesday, Chukwu noted that scouting for players that would be injected to the Super Eagles is the core duty of a coach and wondered why the federation president should be wasting tax payers’ money visiting different clubs in England seeking for the release of players without putting into cognizance whether the coach, who would eventually manage the Eagles, would want to use those players.

The former Harambee Stars of Kenya manager wants Pinnick to dissociate himself from players’ invitation into the Super Eagles and focus more on how to get a quality coach to handle the team.
