UK jobless rate falls to  5.6% as pay rises

The United Kingdom’s jobless rate has fallen to 5.6 per cent, according to the last set of official figures before next month’s General Election. The Office for National Statistics said employment continued to rise, hitting a new record high last month and unemployment continued to fall.
